TEAMS & ASSIMILATION COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)
As part of the ministry team, the Coordinator of the Dream Team and Assimilation complements the responsibilities of the Lead Pastor and ministry team. Our ministry team is composed of collaboration and support. This position executes the vision for volunteers and the assimilation of individuals into the church. All responsibilities will be fulfilled through prayerful dependence on the Holy Spirit to glorify God in all things.
Responsibilities:
DREAM TEAM
Develop and implement an ongoing church-wide process to recruit, train, and support volunteers, including leadership development
Oversee the recruitment, screening, training, scheduling, supervision, support, and evaluation of volunteers
Ensure that volunteer activities contribute to the overall vision, mission, and goals of the church
Work to assign volunteers to tasks/roles that capitalize on their experience, strengths, and interests. Provide support so that volunteers feel successful in accomplishing their roles and tasks
Serve as an advocate for volunteers in the church
Plan and coordinate Dream Team, team nights, appreciation, and team-building activities
Develop an annual evaluation and feedback process for volunteer performance and job satisfaction
Work with the pastor and ministry team to enhance, fill, and expand volunteer roles in the congregation and develop a Dream Team supervision system
ASSIMILATION

Serve as an advocate for volunteers in the church

Develop an annual evaluation and feedback process for volunteer performance and job satisfaction
Work with the pastor and ministry team to enhance, fill, and expand volunteer roles in the congregation and develop a Dream Team supervision system
Role Qualifications:
Born-again believer with a maturing relationship with Christ
Ability to communicate the Gospel through various means to children at various ages
Leadership background and experience serving with teams. Heart for people and fostering community
Proven ability to work within a team dynamic
Project management experience
Ability to articulate and implement the vision of Lifepoint Church
Exceptional leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)
Superior interpersonal skills working with a variety of people from Dream Team members (volunteers) to new guests
Solid theological grounding
Positive attitude and positive approach to problem-solving. Must be solution-oriented
Computer competency in Google Suite, etc
Strong organizational and time management skills and pursuit of excellence through attention to detail
